Access denied twice over.

But with the scarcity of new films, I think these themed events are a great idea.

Two things:

1) They WOULD put these in theaters the same day I have a Lady Gaga concert.
2) I spent $100 for a private screening of Batman Returns two years ago, thinking it will NEVER be brought back to the big screen. Now it’s $10.

Wow, yes, I see Batman 1989 is playing again today at Cinemark. 2 hours and 6 minutes, for Batman Day.
The animated film is playing too.

Planning to watch Batman Returns today at home. Actually been ages since I've seen it, so Batman day, plus the film's 30th anniversary this year feels like an ideal time to see it again.

Bummed that there isn't a Cinemark closer to me or that other theater chains aren't doing anything for Batman Day. Would LOVE to see these 3 on the big screen. Alas, at home will have to do.

I wish BATMAN '89 was playing near me. I'd love to see it on the big screen again (I saw it twice in theaters in the summer of 1989).

Just finished Batman Returns a little while ago. Such a fun, nostalgia trip down memory lane. I did not realize how sexually-charged this movie was when I was younger. So much innuendo that went right over my head. Pretty sure Selina/Catwoman touches Bruce's/Bats crotch on three separate occasions

. I also didn't appreciate just how great DeVito was as Penguin either. Anyway, completely entertaining film, which I definitely need to add to my yearly rotation in the future.

Definitely consider for your home theater, when not seeing new films in theaters, a small, affordable HD film projector (some as low as $100 new) that can project a sharp 100" screen onto a blank wall or film screen. With the right sound system, and connected to a blu ray player, it's the next best thing to being at the awesome movie theaters.

I still go see new films at theaters, but revisited Batman 1989 earlier during summer and it was really fun to see on such a big small screen.

Same here. I caught it in the theaters when I was fairly young so most of the sexual innuendos went over my head. When I rewatched it a number of years after that I understood why WB wanted Burton to tone things down. Which he wouldn't and Schumacher came in.

I caught all three films for Batman Day. Was fun seeing these three movies on the big screen again!
