I played the original briefly but didn’t get into it. This one looks intriguing to me for some reason though.

I tried out the demo for it and couldn't get into it. I want to give it a second try though. My backlog of games is getting ridiculous.

Triangle Strategy is a must play, second best game of the year behind Xenoblade 3 for me.

(Actually I forgot about Pokemon Legends. It might be behind that lol.)

Looks like this will be getting a native PS5 version. I expect the original to be announced in the State of Play later today now.

Wonder if the PS5 version will run 4K 120fps

The original was a UE4 game, but I think it’s only 1080p/60 (even on Steam and Xbox Series X which has UE4 games @ 4K/120). It would be cool if this native PS5 version is fully optimized.

120fps for an rpg that barely moves alot? 60 would be enough lol.

I can’t cancel and re-order because I had a $20 off promo to use on it. Might have to try my luck at getting customer service to add it to my order since they are sporadic at best on adding pre order items to existing orders.

It was a last minute impusle buy on my part, largely due to a big, unexpected work bonus, but I picked up the CE. Definitely pushing my limits with the price tag, but I love the first game and decided to get it with goodies.

I am. A little over 20 hours in. I doubt I will play a better game this year.

Way better than the first game, and that is saying a lot as I loved that one as well.

I’m about 7 hours in and am highly enjoying the gameplay so far. I started with Hikari.

Finished this up last night and enjoyed my time with it. The combat is pretty fun but I thought the same thing when I played it in Bravely Default II

Of the eight main characters I enjoyed Hikari, Castti, Partitio, Osvald and Throné. But the only three stories I liked start to finish were Hikari, Osvald and Throné.
