I still have my PS3 with both games. The upgrade doesn’t seem that much of improvement, so I probably won’t buy this. Well, unless it goes on deep discount and have platinum trophies. Then maybe I’ll finally get motivated to play again to recruit every stars/characters.

I finished the 1st game 3 times, but never managed to collect all.

I wonder if the original team is involved with this port, if they are not too busy making Eiyuden Chronicle.

I still have Suikedon 1 and 2 for my Playstation 3 and PSP so I really dont need to spend money on them again

I still have my original copies of I-V...and I never played 3, 4, or 5. Oddly enough on a new play through with emulation on the steam deck, so hopefully I make it through all 5 this time.

1 & 2 definitely hold a special place in my heart, and even though they show their age, they oddly hold up in a lot of ways.

Got this on Switch and fired it up for a couple of minutes. Didn't even get to a battle yet but traversal on the map seems lagged and muddy. It's really off putting.

Played a bit of the first game. Didn’t find it that interesting so far. The battles and towns resemble those of the older Final Fantasy games. Maybe it gets better later on because I don’t see why the reviewers like it so much. Also, I understand this series is based on classic Chinese novel but the setting seems to have westernized with a European castle and European style towns and Anime looking characters instead of Chinese ones.

Looks good so far on my PS5, and it controls well. They fixed the Marco cup game exploit in the first game, but the pre-order bonuses offset this a bit. Really glad they added dash and 8-way run into the game.

I record it in slo-mo on my phone and watch it back. Still a little difficult on those 10,000 rolls sometimes.

That dice game just to get on the raft is complete bs. I save scummed one day and had no luck. Then tried without and lost 60,000 in over an hour. No luck. Came back to it the next day and won the first time. That should not be the way to move the narrative.
