Spartacus and Gladiator is an excellent movie... and so Spartacus is one of my favorite movie.

Went with Spartacus on this occasion esp. for the characters played by Peter Ustinov, Lawrence Olivier, Charles Laughton, etc.

Spartacus, the Kirk Douglas directed (err I mean Kubrick directed) movie is magnificent.

I like Gladiator and it helped Ridley's flailing career, but it's disjointed in places for me.

I've seen Gladiator in the theater, on DVD, and UHD and loved it every time. Unfortunately I've never seen Spartacus so can't vote.
