This is a Mill Creek release. I'd say the following are good possibilities:

Luv (1967)
The Cheap Detective (1978)
Big Trouble (1986)
Happy New Year (1987)

If the set includes stuff that has already come out on BD (even from another label), then Murder By Death would be a possibility, and I suppose Vibes as well.

Mill Creek has already released a few of them: Luv was included on The Jack Lemmon Showcase DVD set and Vibes was released on blu-ray:

It's an ancient HD master but the only way to see it in HD. It is not available to buy/rent digitally in HD.

Even though Jack said this was one of his worst movies when asked by Johnny Carson (see video below), it's still worth checking out. It has a great cast: Jack Lemmon, Elaine May, Peter Falk, Nina Wayne (Carol Wayne's younger sister) and a cameo by an actor that would later star in some of the highest grossing movies ever.

I asked Mill Creek about this release yesterday on Facebook. I asked specifically about the release date and The Cheap Detective (the only Sony Peter Falk comedy I want since I all ready own SF's blu ray of Murder by Death). I received the following reply:

"Mill Creek Entertainment
Thanks for reaching out! It does include The Cheap Detective, and is due to be released on 1/31/23"

I also emailed Mill Creek via its website yesterday. I just checked my email and received the following reply:

He has a bit-part in Luv, not a cameo. There's a difference.

The same actor has an actual cameo in More American Graffiti.

Oh man a John Cassavetes movie destined for a Mill Creek 4-film set…it’s nowhere near his best film but I did enjoy it. Definitely need to add it to my collection for that alone.

Discs are Marked REGION A, but both play fine in my Region B Player setting

Discs are English Audio and Subtitles only

Glancing over the discs image quality / encodes get worse

LUV - the one that looks like film. Only good transfer in the batch

The Cheap Detective - much like the Shout BLU for Murder By Death - it has an odd texture of - is it frozen grain - image ? Not sure what - this was what I was dreading. Possibly watchable - but I have the WS LaserDisc & DVD

Big Trouble - looks very bad, lots of clumpy frozen image - I own it on DVD and LaserDisc and can safely say- I will go to them for this film.

Happy New Year - same issues as Big Trouble

Thanks for the feedback. I received mine today but have not checked it out yet. I'm not expecting too much since it is Mill Creek. But that is not good news about The Cheap Detective.
