What is your biggest regret when it comes to a home video purchase you made?
Megaforce (Umbrella): What a terrible blu-ray release this one was. The master they used was so old that it would have been terrible in 2009 let alone 2022. the special features, while plentiful, all repeat the same five stories and are just really boring. This is my biggest regret of 2022. Brotherhood of the Wolf (Scream Factory): Another release that uses a really old master, this release just sucks. Not only was the PQ lackluster, but they didn't even include all of the special features from the 3-disc DVD. The fact that they called this a "Collector's Edtion" is a slap in the face to collectors. Lost After Dark (Anchor Bay): I guess this release is fine. It doesn't have any special features which is really weird for a newer film like this, but the reason I regret buying it is that this is one of the worst films I have ever seen. It wants to be a throwback to 80s slasher films but does nothing those older films did right. Just a terrible film that I regret buying. |
