I think I have this on VHS. Seeing it is a TV film, it might be fitting for Vinegar Syndrome, if they plan on doing another volume of the Televised Terror box sets.

I hope Vinegar Syndrome does obtain the rights to some of these forgotten 80s/early 90s TV movies. I really liked the Televised Terror box set, a Televised Terror Box Set Vol 2 would be perfect

Better yet, from the '70s, a decade brimming with MFTV suspense and thriller goodies. By the 1980s and '90s, the TV-movie trend had moved away from suspense and toward the so-called disease-of-the-week genre. TV suspensers were petering out towards the late-'70s. One of the better ones of the post-'70s period, off the top of my head, is No Place to Hide, with Kathleen Beller.
And Trapped, the subject of this thread, might be the best TV thriller of its era, directed as it is by the virtuosic Fred Walton. In the '90s, he made the sequel to When a Stranger Calls, which has an even bigger doozy of a lengthy opening sequence than the first film; and Dead Air, a fine suspenser with Gregory Hines.

Is this the one where James Brolin is TRAPPED in a department store with Guard/Security dogs? I mentioned this in another thread (cannot recall which one). But I would love to see this on blu.

I thought TRAPPED (1989) was with Kathleen Quinlan and the 'TRAPPED' with James Brolin was a 1973 TVM.

NO PLACE TO HIDE (1981-Tvm) with Kathleen Beller was released on 'PRISM Entertainment' in a clamshell case. I have a couple of those I've kept for years. Who can Kathleen ♠trust♠?

I don't know if it has been shown since, but I had Trapped (the James Brolin-starring TV film) set to record a few months ago (Talking Pictures TV were due to show it), then I discovered that there had been a last minute change to the schedule (it was replaced with another film/TV film).

TRAPPED (1973-Tvm) was issued on CIC Video in a big box in the UK -- I don't have a copy, but wish I did. Some of those 'big-box' early post-certs are very rare.
