However, some of the comments from readers show pathetic amount of gushing over the article. Seems HD-DVD die hards found a article they can be proud of and shares their own stupidity.

The artical was satire!

I just had a great idea they should make a "Special Transformers edition" HD DVD player, which comes with the Transformers disk installed and no eject button. So you never loose the one good HD movie. (why would you ever want to play anything else on it?) Becides Transformer's II will be Blu-ray exclusive.

This one is my favorite.

Well, HD DVD does in fact use superior compression since the majority of Blu-ray movies use MPEG2 (though they are starting to finally move away from that space and bandwidth hog). Same goes for PCM. Blu-ray should STOP USING IT and stick with Dolby TrueHD, like HD DVD does for lossless.
