A girl reminisces about a holiday she took with her father 20 years prior. It is Charlotte Wells' debut film and that is extraordinary because it feels like a 4th or 5th film by a European Director like Assayas. The direction is masterful. The performance by Paul Mescal is outstanding. It is very moving and at times I was just stunned by how delicate and tender it is It is the best film of 2022. Go and see it.
