Purple People Eater (1988) - Blu-ray Forum

I would love for one of the boutique labels to release this film. I don't think it has ever gotten a DVD release. It was released on VHS by Media/Video Treasures in the 80s/90s. A unique family film with a cast of well known stars- Neil Patrick Harris, Ned Beatty, Shelley Winters, Thora Birch, Dustin Diamond (Saved By the Bell), along with famous musicians Chubby Checker, Little Richard, and Sheb Wooley.
It was released by MPCA, which also released films such as Memorial Valley Massacre.

I just ordered a copy from Amazon this week. I hope the picture quality is decent, at least until we get a blu ray

Trying to find info about this. Is it actually DVD quality, or just VHS quality on a DVD? Release seemed maybe grey market.
