Sony KDL40V2500

i posted a thread last night about a sharp aquos and not sure if/how i could merge these too or edit my post. But im looking for a new 1080p hdtv and have come up with either

Sony KDL40V2500
or
Sharp LC-32D62U - AQUOS 32"

I hear there use to be clouding problems iwth the sony and power problems iwht the sharp =/. I am leaning toward the sony tho, and suggestions? Trying to keep it under/close to $1,000

* currently using sony kv 30hs420 but think its time to go from 720p to 1080p
