Love them! Have seen them twice during the Trench tour and they were some of the best shows I've ever seen.
I thought Scaled and Icy was just meh but loved Overcompensate on first listen and the "Welcome back to Trench" and thats the sound Clancy is going back to has me hyped

I think I'm in the minority that loves Scaled and Icy. I appreciated how different it was from Trench/Blurry/Vessel

Love TOP- been one of my favorite bands since I heard Blurryface back in 2015. Their sound and style just hits that sweet spot in my ADHD- I'm never bored by any of their songs because so often they switch things up within the song itself. Seen them live 3 times so far- twice for the Trench tour and once during the Scaled and Icy Tour. I really love the world Tyler has created since Trench with the Clancy storyline; I've gone down many a rabbit-hole with all the little easter eggs peppered throughout their stuff through the years. Not sure how much of it is planned and how much is just a coincidence, but it really does come across like Tyler has had this all planned out for quite some time.

I always liked Scaled and Icy; I thought it was a nice blend of classic radio pop and that classic TOP sound, and I've only grown to like it more as I find out how it fits into the narrative. Whether any of it was retconned after the reception or not, it's always been an enjoyable listen for me.

I've had Overcompensate stuck in my head since it came out, and am really looking forward to Clancy. Pre-ordered the journal CD from their site; I'm a sucker for some good lore, and methinks that'll be a nice little info dump. Since this is the last album for the Clancy storyline, I wonder what's next for them from here- more concept albums or more standalone stuff like Vessel.

I didn't dislike it but I loved Vessel, blurryface and Trench and just liked Scaled and Icy.

Apparently they updated their Ticketmaster page with a new photo, so it looks like tour info is on the way soon. Maybe with the new single drop this Thursday? Or at least alongside the album in May, I'd imagine.

Registered for tickets too, but I also pre-ordered the journal CD through their site, and I saw that purchasing something gets you a presale code anyway.

I absolutely love the new song. That early 00's pop punk garage sound is a great fit for TOP. Obviously most of their songs are open to interpretation, but most of the reactions I've seen seem to be taking it the same way on what it's really about. Hits home pretty hard, and re-contextualizes a few details from past songs and music videos. Been lovely seeing how cathartic a song it is for people. Really looking forward to the rest of the album.

I see a lot of fans on the TOP subreddit complaining but this is what tix cost now. I bought Pearl Jam and Kacey Musgraves within the past couple months and this is the new norm.

Apparently they put up some signed editions of the new Clancy CD on their site yesterday, but of course I didn't see the email until they were already sold out. Bummer- been wanting their autos for a bit. Did anyone luck out and get one?

Well, lucked out and was able to get an order in for the signed journal edition of Clancy that they randomly put up the other day. Been wanting their autographs for some time, and I love how a lot of artists are signing albums and selling them for normal price. I think I like the journal thing more than just the regular edition, since there's actual lore involved, and I've always dug the lore behind it all. Really excited for Clancy- just one more week to go!
