Surprised there is no thread for this great suspense conspiracy thriller yet here. Really a great show and Eva Green and Vincent Cassel is fantastic in their roles. If people havent seen this yet they should definitely give it a try.

This looks good. Somehow I completely missed it. Apple is doing a poor job marketing their TV+ shows.

Yep they are. This show deserve way more exposure. Its very good one of the best shows this year by far.

The first couple of episodes are a bit 'WTF is going on?' at times, but it is a top notch bit of TV.

Green & Cassel are both excellent & it however convoluted it gets, it's been quite gripping so far. Hope they can keep it up for the last 2 episodes.

Highly recommended to fans of espionage stories or political thrillers.

I imagine because it's an English/French co-production, mostly subtitled, & with no big-name US stars, it makes for a less easy show to advertise to 'mainstream' audiences than, say, The Morning Show. But I'm with you, I hadn't seen any press on it at all. The trailer just randomly popped up on youtube when I was looking at new movie trailers, & by then two episodes had already aired.

Yeah, it was similar with Tehran, which is also an excellent spy thriller. I love to see good foreign shows with a different perspective.

I was watching 'Extrapolations' on AppleTV+ last night and a trailer for this came on afterwards. First I'd heard of it... but it does look REALLY good. And I like both leads too. Added to my list for sure.

I’m going to give this a shot. I recently signed up for ATV to watch foundation. This show looks worthy.

The terrible dubbing of the french speaking characters in the first episode turned me off completely.... I know you can change languages and have them speak in their native tongue but then when they go to the next scene you have to go in a change language options again.

A very strange decision that took me out of it completely and made me give it straight away

Must only be on your end. Also Eva Green and Vincent Cassel is french. They speak their native language lol But when they are with English actors or other foreign actors they speak English.

If I select Language option English and subtitle option Auto the scene at 8 min mark at Elysee Palace Paris the french actors are dubbed

If I select Language option French and subtitle option Auto then that scene has the correct French dialogue and english subtitles but it also means the next scene that is in English still has subtitles, so I either have to watch the whole thing with subtitles or turn them off after every French speaking scene

Is that clearer?

Also I am quite aware that both the main actors are French, that is not my issue

As it says at the beginning of every episode, the show’s native language is French, although many scenes are in English and a few in Arabic. Chosing French gets you zero dubbed scenes.

I don’t know how to not have the English language scenes without subs; is it such a big deal?
