Titeuf: The Movie was released on 3D Blu-ray in Brazil, France, Italy and China.

The brazilian release is REGION FREE, plays in english subtitles (french audio only) with no issues and it's already out of print.

Just ordered it! Didn't see this thread first but saw the ebay listing.

Always hoped the English version would show up again because I really wanted it. Very lucky since it's no longer listed on eBay and in all likelihood I got the very last one.

Contacted Bolt because hadn't received shipping notification after eight days. Said had to purchase more copies and expects to ship them out this week. It's listed again on ebay if anyone is still interested.

I got my copy today. It looks like it may be re-wrapped old stock as the front of the case (inside the plastic wrap) had some kind of dirt on it.

I just got this one also, looking forward to checking it out soon!
I think a thread dedicated to titles like this (releases without English audio, but watchable for English language speakers... films with English subs or very little to no dialouge such as the Miniscule films) would be helpful for those of us who don't mind subtitles, and are still seeking obscure releases that aren't as widely known about.

Mine was delivered the other day, took just over 6 weeks to arrive and was well packaged to protect the disc from coming loose. Now I just need to find time to watch it...

I wouldn't know, sorry. I'm not much of a 3D fan, because it irritates my eyes and gives me a headache. I was more interested in this being the only way to watch the film on Blu-ray with English subtitles. I still haven't watched it, yet, though.

I got the Brazilian release of this in today. Had to import it from Brazil using Shippn. I'd rather not share how much that cost.

Unfortunately, my disc has a very serious authoring error. The film is out of sync (or perhaps out of phase is the correct term). The left eye plays one frame ahead of the right eye. It's most apparent during cuts, because for one frame, the left eye will have a different image than the right. Any still objects on screen look decent enough, but anything in motion is an unresolvable mess. Unfortunately, that's all the character animation.

Oddly, some elements appear to be in phase. The opening production logos are, as are the subtitles. Strangely, during the film, the backgrounds appear to be in phase, while the characters are out of phase. It makes me wonder if remuxing the film to put the left and right eyes in phase is possible, and if so, would that put the characters in phase while putting the backgrounds/environmental animation out of phase?

As is, this disc is unwatchable in 3D. Hate to be the canary in the coal mine on this one. The film itself appears to be charming enough, with plenty of stereo composition. But this disc is botched.

I hadn't yet viewed my copy (Brazilian release from eBay) and having seen these comments felt I should give it a spin. Alas I have the exact same issue, and is unwatchable. A shame.

The composition is clearly meant for 3D. It’s a damn shame that it’s so corrupted.

I wonder if the transfer is as botched on the French edition. Like how the Hong Kong edition of Iceman 3D has one eye color corrected differently, whereas it’s fixed on the European edition. I can’t imagine this is baked in from its theatrical presentation, without having been corrected for the home release.

As is, this makes the half-missing text on the Sing 2 3D Blu-ray from RSM look like child’s play.

confirms what osmos512 said, the Brazilian copy is unwatchable. had to stop after 2 mins. I'll try to find the French version one day and compare.

Just checked both versions and while the 3D on the Brazilian is flawed, the 3D on the French release is problem free. It is 3D with a layered presentation, not 3D modeling, à la Zombillenium, Tales of the Night, Kirikou, etc... But IMO, it ranks high on the list versus others with this "layered" presentation, and found the 3D to be very pleasing.

Both BR & FR are region free and both provide French audio tracks only. BR release has English and Portuguese subtitles. FR release has only French subtitles. BR is 1.78:1 ratio. FR is 1.85:1 ratio.

Guess you'll have to rip the English subs from the BR and add it to the FR release.

thanks for confirming the 3D is correct on the French version. no need for English subtitles, French is my mother tongue.
