Default 2160p Quad High Def Blu-ray or HD-DVD

I've seen this mentioned at wiki and could see the future with even bigger home displays where the higher resolution is needed. Even now projectors could benefit from this.

What length video can be stored at this definition on Blu-ray disk and HD-DVD disk (consider dual layer and single layer since they may have different transfer rates)?

Will the disks have the transfer rate needed for playback?

My feeling is that Blu-ray may allow for movement to this new standard in the future while HD-DVD has maxed out with the current 1080p.

blu-ray does not have the bitrate. 1080p pushes is it with blu-ray. 2160p has a resolution 400% greater than blu-ray. THen difference between blu-ray and quad high def is almost as great as the difference between blu-ray and dvd.

However, if you want to, you could get some very low bit transfers on blu-ray and do 2160p, you could probably get an hour I'm guessing, but it wouldn't look that could.
