I love the Shrek movies this one is easily the worst of the series. Shrek 4 is criminally undertated as well

Nice! The movie is wayyy unnecessarily over-hated, with its biggest “crime” not being the first two. That said, I definitely don’t like it as much as the first two, but I’ll take it over the fourth. I’ll probably get this at some point, but honestly what I’m really hoping for is a collection of JUST the four movies on 4K in a simple four-disc case or a SteeBook (not holding my breath for a U.S. release, but maybe overseas).

Spider-Man 3
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Shrek the Third

May 2007 was not a good time for threequels. They all sucked so much ass.

People enjoyed the previous movies so much and you're not allowed to ask for refunds.

To be fair, when has a third movie ever been any good? Even Christopher Nolan struggled with it.

Only third films I can think of that were any good were The Good, The Bad and the Ugly (and the Dollars trilogy wasn't really meant to be a trilogy), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (and the subsequent fourth film was garbage) and Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

Second sequels are, more often than not, terrible

Spider-Man 3 and At Worlds End are incredible, actually

Can't speak to Shrek the Third as I haven't seen it in years

Toy Story 3 is probably the best of that particular series

I really don't get why they didn't just release this alongside the fourth movie so the whole franchise is on 4k.

Probably easier to just focus on getting one updated to UHD and then moving onto the next one.

Bro, there's no way SM3 and AWE are the same level of Shrek.

Those two films are actually good.

I will never understand why people dislike Shrek The Third so much. It's the FOURTH on that sucks.
