need help, urgently! - Blu-ray Forum

Ok, i'm looking for this HS for my PS3 so i can chat online, i use a bluetooth at the moment but i'm not happy with it because it just seems to not deliver a clear enough sound from other people like it used to when i got it first, this could simply be from some liquid spilled on or in it by my brothers & sisters while i weren't looking but the point stands

This time i've decided i want to get a USB HS as it offers the best mic performance overall, you can hear others perfectly & talk perfecly

Now that i know which type, i really need to know whether the one i'm looking to get is actually compatible with the PS3 & if anybody else currently uses it or another similar USB HS with their PS3 & their experience of them so far

I need quick replies as i plan on buying this HS 'Logitech Premium Computer/PC Gaming/MP3 Headset USB 350' through a friend who uses Ebay & has his account already set up & i wanna order today cause i won't see him for like a week & if i order now i can have it by mid week, so does anybody know if it will be compatbile with the PS3?

theres really only one rule for ps3 combatability. If it doesn't need installing it should work. Sometimes even if they need installing on a windows/mac they dont on ps3. I have an ex hdd 500gb and it doesn't need installing on my pc or ps3.

I have a USB headset and it works on my PC with Skype and other programs. It doesn't work with the PS3.

Don't know what to tell you mate.

Well, the first negative for the USB idea but i know that some people using Bluetooth HSs also experienced problems but weren't able to use them

i think USB will offer better clairty etc so i plan on going with it, i know many people here use bluetooth but some must also use USB, like i said, i plan on a logitech & hopefully someones else here also uses a logitech USB HS with their PS3, so help appreciated

Well if you want to go with Logitech, go to their US website and then click on Gaming->PS3. It'll list out their products that they say are compatible with PS3. One of them is a USB headset, I think.
