I have gone with "Kwaidan". It is relatively more focused on a theme (horror/ghost stories). Stories such as "The Black Hair", "The Woman of Snow", "Hoichi the Earless", etc. are memorable.
"Dreams" is more into magical realism. Segments that I like include "Village of the Watermills". |

I would agree. Kwaidan is the better film.
Dreams doesn't hold together as well. The bad parts bring it down. |
