Default PC Game Pass worth it?

I JUST got myself a brand new gaming PC (Leveno Legion prebuilt. i7-1TB SSD- 16GB DDR5 RAM - GTX 3060) which i will set up tonight but i was wondering about Game Pass. I keep hearing about it.

As someone who NEVER owned an XBOX in any form and mainly games on PS5/PS4

Is it worth it to get it only for PC? Is there all of the XBOX exclusives on there? like Gears and Halo and Forza etc etc?

Congrats on the PC, enjoy.

you can see the available games here:
https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass/games

make sure you click pc games, as it defaults to the console games.

the Gears games on PC are: Gears 1, 4, 5, and Tactics.
all of the Halo games are on PC except for 5
Forza: only Horizon 4 and 5

PC Game Pass is an unbeatable value for games, whether or not its "worth it" is up to you. If you do not have a lot of time to play, maybe the available games won't deliver what you are looking for. Games rotate in to the service regularly, and games rotate out regularly as well; Xbox always gives at least two weeks notice before they are gone. Most, if not all games also have discounts for Game Pass members, so you can potentially save money on games you want to buy.

There are more than 400 games available, including all Xbox first-party titles (that have PC versions) and games from EA Play. Here is the current list if you want to check it out:

https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass/games#pcgames

Since you mentioned Xbox exclusives, there are a few that do not have PC versions (like Xbox 360 Gears of War games) or have been removed from all stores due to expired licenses (like older Forza games), so you won't see every game that Xbox has offered over the years. There are a lot of them, and as far as I know no first-party games have been removed (aside from licensing issues like). If you buy a game that is in Game Pass and it gets removed from the service, it will still be available in your game library.

Don't forget you can also sign up for Microsoft Rewards. It is very easy to use the service for a few minutes daily and earn enough points to pay for your PC Game Pass subscription, I haven't paid for Xbox Live or Game Pass with money for a very long time (8 or more years).

I prefer physical releases, but the game pass seems to be an extremely good deal regardless.

Yes. Only $10 a month. There is no reason not to have it.

It’s a great way to try out new games, I saved lots of money with pc game pass when I got to try several games without buying them and noticed they’re not that great

It really is a great value, they don't just put indie titles and old games on it either. Considering 1 bought game will get you a half a year of access, too like over a hundred + titles and I would say a good 40% of them are AAA titles.
