Default Pixar!!!!!

Like every other sunday I am bored at work, then I helped this guy and as I was about to ring him up I looked at him and saw a WALL E jacket. I asked him if he worked at pixar and he said yeah, last time I had a female customer that had an Incredibles hoodie and a Cars jacket.

I asked him stuff about Wall E and he said if you liked the past Pixar movies then you will love this one. I also asked when we will see other pixar movies on Blu ray and he said very soon. Never really said anyhting about an exact date but he did confirm that they are working on Toy Stories 3.

Yes I work at emeryville ca about 2-3 blocks from pixar studios. He said he'll be back and give me a Wall E shirt =] . He better not lie because I have his info on the card he signed up for.

I'm working right now, doing this all on my iPhone, but yeah hopefully he does come back.

First I thought he was one of those weird people that would be buying hella stuff and ask for discounts but he was pretty chill. They are supposed to be giving out shirts to promote the movie.

Though he was a little sad that people couldnt get the movie jackets pixar give to its employees. Sigh. I would really like to have the Cars jacket that this lady was wearing last time. I think she was looking for Emu oil.

The part where he said that Pixar on blu very soon, i think he is referring to Finding Nemo which is coming this holiday season. Now, unless they have some pretty interesting news coming for us shortly, the only other title i can see coming this year from Pixar is Wall-e before Christmas. Hopefully there is at least one other title before end of 08 but i highly doubt it.

Still looking forward to Wall-e and finding nemo.

Saw the newest promo vid at the sony store for bluray and Nemo and Narnia looks AMAZING!!!!

After seeing the new Wall-E trailer on the Playstation Network, I can't wait for that one. I thought Ratatouille was one of the best films of last year, but being about rats held back its popularity somewhat. Wall-E could be even bigger.

Yep. And in 3D, along with re-releases of the first 2 in 3D. Here is the schedule (according to boxofficemojo.com and with US date style):

Toy Story (3D) 10/2/09
Toy Story 2 (3D) 2/12/10
Toy Story 3 (3D) 6/18/10

The fact that there is no release date for The Incredibles yet says one thing to me...

Sequel.

I think Disney's holding their powder to use the release to TI to promote TI2.

Just my prediction.

Brad Bird doesn't want to do it, so I doubt it'll happen.

Not really true...Bird is well-respected there (The Incredibles was bank for them, and he basically saved Ratatouille), but I think guys like Lasseter, Stanton and Docter are more likely to have the final word than Brad.

Remember that Bird's next directorial effort is a live-action film, so...

Is he really directing a live action film? weird. So who is going to direct Incredibles 2 then? Im sure if Bird thinks it shouldnt be done then its a good idea. I think Toy Story should stay the only one

It says the movies name is 1906. I googled the year and 3/4 of the results came up with the great Earthquake in San Fran. Isnt that around where the Pixar studio is?

Pixar is in Emeryville, which is a neighbouring city of San Francisco.

The movie is based on a novel which gives a fictionalized (but still based on facts) account of events before, during and after the quake of '06.

http://www.1906earthquake.com/ <-- the book's official website.
