Small distributor Other Parties are planning a UK Blu-ray of Bette Gordon’s film Variety (following an August cinema release), restored by Nan Goldin, about a woman working in in a Times Sq porn theater. Kino worked on the restoration and released the US Blu-ray.

Great news! I have the French LE on my wishlist, so I‘ll wait now for this label and maybe a English friendly booklet

The French release sounds like a pretty good option, with several interviews, optional French subtitles and the majority of the book made up of storyboards and Goldin’s photos.

Looks an interesting release for this hidden gem. Very odd their artwork doesn't show an EAN or UPC.

I can't see it being sold anywhere else the owner of Plumeria broke down his costs and I'm sure it's the same here.

They've not even used an EAN/UPC which also makes it difficult to find.

It's a worthy release though so I may buy it.

That was VERY GOOD ADVICE™.

Actually I had chatted to them about this before, but since it still hadn't showed up at retailers I decided to follow up on the previous conversation and they actually added a shipping option to Estonia so I could buy it from their shop!

Funny to see that the checkout only has 3 countries: Estonia, Ireland, UK

How was the shipping? Any customs issues/are they IOSS registered?

I think they are not, but we’ll see as it hasn’t shipped yet.
