Two years after making grindhouse history with MANIAC, Joe Spinell and Caroline Munro reunited for a shocker filmed guerilla-style at the 1981 Cannes Film Festival and presented here totally uncut for the first time ever: When a disturbed NYC cabbie dreams of becoming a horror auteur, he’ll stalk the genre’s most popular actress across the French Riviera for a cinephiles’ orgy of unwitting celebrities, topless starlets, graphic gore, Munro at her sexiest and Spinell at the peak of his skeevy genius. Does anyone know if this will come with a Blu-ray copy of the film? Or is the Blu-ray disc just reserved for special features with the film itself just being on the 4K Disc.

My guess is yes that the movie is also on the Blu-ray. The website description doesn't say but there's only 2 commentaries and 4 other special features on the Blu-ray. They could've easily put all of that on the 4K disc.

Unless they somehow managed to put the commentaries on the Blu without the movie itself, I think you’re okay to assume the Blu has the movie as well.

Wow, can't believe this got pulled so quickly. I was really hoping for a copy without that "unofficial" slip. I like the actual artwork better.

They warned multiple times that the title might not be available after the sale due to contractural agreements.

TBH I feel like Severin has said that sort of thing often enough that I can't tell what's marketing and what's genuine at this point. Either way, my interest in this extends to about the $30 price point, so this wasn't going to be the set for me.

Hoping their will be a standard edition down the line, even if it's not from them (88 Films?)

It's legitimate. Both this and Combat Shock have basically the same deal with Troma, limited to one pressing and a set number of units.
