They won't have, but they should have made this set definitive; uncut episodes, the black & white version of the pilot etc.

Instead, it's an easy one to avoid. I'll pick up the Jock steelbook of the final season and I'm good

i got in when they were shipping it to the USA and it looks like it the limited version might now be sold out completely since its limited to 1000 copies worldwide

Saw an image of the limited edition set a few days before release. It's packaged in two "capacity" cases as it says in the description on Amazon. I had pre-ordered the set but cancelled it after seeing the images. It's at a nice price for those who have been waiting for a complete series set. I just can't justify it when i already own the individual seasons. That being said i'm sure the standard boxset will be packaged the same.

Is there any word yet on whether the season 1 episodes will be uncut?

Also, does that mean the discs will be stacked like the Better Call Saul box? Or will there at least be room in the cases to properly house the discs?

I'd guess not. The discs are most likely just repackaged from the seasons previously released.

It's 56 Discs total. Seasons 1-6 = 26 & Seasons 7-11 = 30 Discs so they're definitely gonna be stacked like the BCS set

Aside from the episodes from the first season, is there any word if any other episodes are cut or censored? I know sometimes UK releases get edited for violence...

Stacked discs in a jumbo case - absolutely horrific, how unfortunate as the outer case with the Jock artwork is alright.

These Scanavo disc stacking jumbo cases are awful and unfortunately all too common with boxset releases like this now. What would have previously been the similar Amaray cases, with 2 discs per 'page', is now these Scanavos with 4 per page stacked 2 per hub and you feel like your going to snap the disc when removing.

You could almost understand the standard complete boxset using these cases, but you'd think a Limited boxset would be 11 cases or at the least using higher quality Elite 6-10 disc cases like say the James Bond collection.

I think the individual season sets use normal cases (Amaray, Elite etc), but previous boxsets could easily be replaced with cheaper stack cases and sadly its common in the industry for the newer sets to share the same EAN/barcode.
I think the last boxset to get proper cases was the s1-4 boxset (4 cases in a hard slipbox) which can be found very cheap, £5-£9 new. After that for the s1 to 5,6 & 7 season sets, they used digipaks, where the discs sat in card sleeves. Not great protection for the discs, although the s1-7 set is about £20 new if you can live with that.

It would cost 125€ on rarewaves to get s1-4 and the rest in single sets, considering cancelling this tbh but the outer box on the collectors set is nice

I'm in America. I always order from Amazon UK and ordered two copies since no complete series had been released yet and I've always held out for a complete series box; the other copy is for my friend who is a collector of every (American) special edition up to this point. While I am region free, it is disheartening to hear that the set is not.

Anyway, mine still haven't shipped. I'm curious as to the delay.

I do love it when I receive a collectors edition with 0 packaging thanks Amazon, it’s in ok condition just 2 small dents but annoying
