Would you buy HD DVD at a final clearance firesale?

Ok, we're Blu- supporters here, but people here actually still buy DVDs, bargain ones etc.

My question is, honestly, if HD-DVD dies, which it looks inevitibly so, and if they all go clearance... like HELLA clearance!

Would you then buy them?

Like $50 players, $5.00 movies. One can argue that the DVD could still be played on their BD Player where as the HD wouldnt be able to in the future, but they also do have alot of combos, I believe that could still be played, and ofcourse if you had a player too you could grab any title.

SO... WOULD YOU?
