No, they're only on the individual Blu-ray. Totally different discs.

I take it this was recorded on video as well. Not interested in another bizarre looking AI upscale. The Prince estate doesn't deserve his videos.

As a huge Prince fan im certainly interested here and like others have said - if this is upscaled video and not a situation where the music videos have been restored from the original film reels then its a waste if you ask me - this is the kind of stuff Madonna fans(like me) are still waiitng for too - its been 2 years since she announced her legacy deal with Warners and so far its been one mediocre vinyl release after another - the only dissapointing aspect of this release though is no full D&P live concert which was filmed at wembley - maybe they just didnt have a good enough quality version of it ? still its nice we are getting the box sets again and i cant wait to see what comes up next

Super Deluxe Edition:

includes the Glam Slam concert shot in high definition with sound mixed to Dolby Atmos, 5.1 or stereo. It also features Prince & The New Power Generation’s performance at The Special Olympics at the Metrodome in Minneapolis in July 1991 along with the soundcheck for that same performance (again, sound is Dolby Atmos, 5.1 or stereo). Finally the Blu-ray is completed by the inclusion of the Diamonds And Pearls Video Collection, originally released on VHS and LaserDisc in 1993. This is stereo-only.

The concert, Patti World. If it's not film, just put the unmolested standard definition video at the highest possible quality on the disc. Prince and the Revolution Live was ugly on Blu-ray, a step down from the old DVD. Weird looking fake details that literally made performers look like GoldenEye 64 heads and melted horror figures at the worst times under persistent fake grain. I can post screenshots if you think that is hyperbole.

I'm with you there. The Prince And The Revolution Live BD is awful, but the original video had a pretty poor source to begin with, so hopefully this being 7 years later will be an upgrade in quality. And yeah, I don't trust the handlers not to muck this up either. I'm just excited to see anything new at this point.

I was hoping I'd see a listing of the big Super Deluxe edition on the DirectToU stores (Wow, DeepDiscount, ImportCDs) as they've had crazy-good prices on the Prince sets in the past but, unfortunately, that edition is a complete non-show. I would have jumped on the Amz Canada price if I'd been able to.

Mine's reached Denmark on Friday, hopefully I have it here on Monday. I have the high-res Blu-ray Audio on order from Super Deluxe Edition as well but its release isn't until Nov 24 so still a bit off.
