Default The Howling 4 and 5 mediabook

These two were announced a bit earlier coming out I think in September? The infos have been really hard to find, honestly. Have they even been releases yet? Anybody have them yet? Can't find any reviews. I love both movies (especially The rebirth, which is one of the first werewolf movie I saw. I still own the vhs from back then, always loved the cover and the werewolf design in that one!).

On and here's a link to one of the edition on amazon Germany:

Who wants these terrible movies in a 30-€-Mediabook?

Amazon has them in stock, so they have been released of course. Prices are way too high at Amazon compared to other retailers.
I only own Howling IV and quality-wise it's acceptable. Nothing stunning in terms of picture and audio but not totally bad either. I can't say if that goes for Howling V too.

The PQ for part 4 is stunning. Very amazing transfer. It’s one of those transfers that makes a movie seem like it’s completely brand new.

Awesome, glad to hear! Any idea what aspect ratios the movies were?
I really hope these new transfers make it to North America. While no masterpieces, I think both of those sequels could be appreciated a lot more with better transfers. They both deserve it, imo.

Howling IV didn't have a theatrical release here, but the aspect ratio on the Blu-ray is 1.78:1. I assume it was shot in 1.85:1 originally.

Yeah, I remembered it was a direct to video and it's been stuck in "full screen" mode ever since. I always wondered if one day we'd get widescreen versions. This is a pretty big deal for these two movies. Thanks for the info!

Hopefully we get Howling 4, 5 & 6 on Blu-ray here in the states maybe by Lionsgate/Vestron.

I can't find any confirmation from the pictures of the back of the cases online.

Does anybody have these releases? Are they the same or similar? I notice they're from a different company but they're considerably cheaper

Same discs, just different packaging (scanavo case instead of mediabook).
