not sure which part is the non combat gameplay? the parts that look like a 'world map'?

I'm going to play Unicorn Overlord eventually. I love the sound team for this game, Basiscape, so I ordered the soundtrack and the acoustic arrange album. Relatedly, and out of nowhere, 13 Sentinels is getting an orchestra album. It's coming out on May 10th, the same day as the Unicorn Overlord Acoustic album. I have to finish Fire Emblem Engage before I can start this one.

With Atlus doing so many remasters I’ve been hoping Vanillaware would be next. I’d pick up a Muramasa remake on Steam or Xbox in a heartbeat, and if they ported the PS4 updated versions of Odin Sphere and Dragon’s Crown to Steam and Xbox I’d buy them again, too. Bet they’d really look amazing on Steam Deck OLED/Switch OLED.

they remastered GrimGrimoire last year(?) but only for Switch and Playstation.

Muramasa is stuck on the Wii/Vita, so a remaster is probably a matter of when not if

Oh right, I forgot about that; and the Grim Grimoire remake skipped Steam.

Went ahead and started the demo (on PS5). Looks and sounds great, but I think that was already established. The game basically plays itself though. Figured it was just super easy for the introduction/tutorial, but it's the same once the game starts. Will play more later in the week, I assume the battles get more challenging.

Curious why you went with the ps5

this look like a portable type of game, but that's still not an easy choice nowadays between the Ps Portal and Switch. (and Steam Deck but that's not an extra option here thankfully )

I'm torn between playing natively on the Switch (OLED) vs Ps5 TV/Portal/trophy hunting

I was unsure of Switch performance but I agree the Switch OLED seems like the perfect way to experience the game.

I went with the Xbox version of the CE because that's the version that went on sale... I would have preferred it on the PS5 only because I have a 4TB SSD added so I don't have to worry about moving around games to my external HDD like on my Xbox, but I wanted to experience this game in 4k HDR over being able to play it on the toilet.

With that being said, I am at the last boss and I have no freaking idea how to even damage him with out him full helaing himself after every attack. I upgraded my ring completely and did almost all of the side quests and my main party with Alian averages level 45, I have to be missing something here...

Nvm I beat it last night, good game, but I feel like there are too many characters so you really don't develop a bond for any of them.
