The Challenge
Watch films noir to attain the following levels based on common film noir characters:

5 films: Unsuspecting Dope or fall guy
10 films: Dirty Cop
15 films: Nightclub Owner
20 films: Femme Fatale
25+ films: Private Detective

District Attorney Challenge (Optional)
The set-up: you’re the Big City DA with political ambitions and an eye on the Governor’s mansion, but you’re behind in the polls. You need a conviction against Mr. Big and his crime syndicate to turn your campaign around. To get the conviction you’ll need to watch 10 films noir from the 1940s and 10 from the 1950s. Because you’re a savvy DA, you’ve successfully argued for the judge to grant an exception: you may replace any film one-for-one with a neo-noir title; build a case with these 20 films and you’ll get your conviction.

The Films
Every time you watch a film, post your rating and thoughts on the film and be sure to use spoiler tags when appropriate. Hopefully everyone can discover a new dark alley to wander down or an irresistible femme fatale that just blew into town.
