Default Hot Shots 1 and 2

I am surprised these movies have not had a US blu ray release.

Any other fans?

At this point I would prefer them together as one set.

Well it is not like Fox didn't have plenty of time to release them before Disney bought them.

Yes. Pretty odd they never released them in the USA. I have a 2-disc Blu-ray steelbook for this that is region A friendly. The import versions are in print still except the steelbook and pretty easy to get if you go on Amazon or eBay.

So many movies that Fox had the chance to release on blu ray before Disney bought them....so sad.

Yeah, I own those, but still doesn't explain why they haven't had a US blu ray release. Also I hope they release them both together as one set if they ever do.

Doesn't matter there never was a US release they would be the same discs. I have the Japanese FOX discs and they are the same as the UK ones. Hot Shots looks old as dirt and Part II looked better, both need a UHD upgrade another Blu ray would be stupid since it would clearly be the same discs as before maybe through Mill Creek I dunno doubt Disney wants to touch these movies. They will probably be 4k on streaming way before new discs.

It does for me, since I am hoping for a double feature with both movies as one set. That would save up on a little space especially since the ones I have are wider then standard blu ray cases.

I have the import on BD with 1 and 2 but it's pretty insane at this point these never got a USA Blu-ray release. Might as well go straight to 4K UHD now. If only Disney licensed stuff out I could see Shout or Kino doing a 4K UHD for these.

Yeah, I have the imports for them as well. You would think they would have released them when Two and Half Men was popular.

Not sure why Fox before Disney bought them never released them both on Blu-ray in the USA market. I can't speak for their reasoning. As others have said in this thread they had plenty of time. Just glad though we got them on Blu-ray in other markets.

Yeah, Fox sucked at doing physical releases but Disney is much worse.
