Default Village Roadshow Blu-Ray exclusive ?!?!?

I just got Rush Hour 3 and i noticed the Village Roadshow Entertainment (a local distributor which releases alot of famous titles over here in Australia inc. LOTR, Shawshank and Pulp Fiction) intro at the start so i was wondering did they announce anything at any stage about going blu-ray or releasing in high-def cause i dont remember nething about this

Can anyone confirm this

hahah no idea my friend no doubt you've heard they have banned the show from being aired in victoria because the trial of some of the characters has yet to gone through the courts.

As far as I know they are subsidiary of Time Warner. So I would say they are Blu-ray exclusive but I could be wrong. They usually release New Line movies here and the occasional Warner Bros title.

Underbelly is awesome. I've recorded it tonight and set my Foxtel IQ up to record it every week as well. Hopefully Channel 9 will eventually release it on Blu-ray or at least DVD.
