I ordered my first soundbar this morning (Bose 600), and am wondering if I can use a "standard" HDMI cable to run from the ARC port to the soundbar, or if I have to buy a 4k HDMI cable.

If you are not using it for video, sure it should work.
If you use eARC though, you need a HDMI 2.1 compatible cable. That usually means at least a 4K cable. |
