Default Blu-ray Player audio playback issues

I have the following issue:

A while ago, I bought the German Blu-ray "Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001)" and the French and UK Blu-ray for the film "Dead Ringers (1988)". The Blu-rays where all brand new. Despite having equipment, that is like new and only a few months old, I have audio issues while playing both discs. Both "Dead Ringers" Blu-rays have missing audio bits at the same moments in the film. The Blu-ray "Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001)" has the same issue near the end of the film. I tested this one on my external Blu-ray drive, using the Blu-ray player software "Leawo" and had no problems.

I have never had any playback issues before with my Blu-ray player.

Any ideas, what the cause of these problems might be?

Ich bin für jede Rückmeldung dankbar

Make sure the Blu-ray software is internally decoding all lossless and lossy audio soundtracks to 2.0 LPCM if you have a 2.0 speaker setup on your computer. Or do up to a 7.1 LPCM decoding for 7.1 computer speaker setups. Try connecting a A/V receiver to the graphics card HDMI output and selecting bitstream to see if the audio problem goes away.

I have actually seen Blu-ray audio problems go away on an old year 2007 Laptop computer when the graphics card driver is updated to the latest version. Also install the latest Windows updates. You might need a software update to your Blu-ray player, but since the problem is happening only on the internal BD-ROM drive and not the external, this might be a problem with the internal BD-ROM drive since the problem goes away when using the external BD-ROM drive.

It would be really helpful if you post the all the hardware you are using to play the 'problem' discs.
