eBay retailer pleaserewindus (Sony) deals

For those of you not familiar with this ebay retailer, it appears Sony has some deal with them where they ship overstock to be resold online here. Edit: some have said Sony operates this store themselves, I don't know how to confirm if that is true.

For the past few years now I've picked up the occasional title from this seller. I have only had good experiences so far, I always get the items in good shape and usually in a box. I waited to receive this order before posting because I wanted to make sure they were still doing a good job and I was not disappointed. Enough with the preamble here's the link to the store.

There are additional coupons based on how much you put into one order. I only needed these three steels so that's what I went with. Tremendously happy as these were titles I overlooked buying for a while now and never saw them discounted.
Current retail price would have been $28/$28/$40.

Some 4K Sony deals better than Target's B2G1 free sale. Remains of the Day 4K for $13.65 (plus a potential 10% off $60+) especially looks like a good deal.

Picked up Resident Evil 4K Collection, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Black Hawk Dawn, and Remains of the Day for $72.40 pre-tax. Not bad for some catalog titles that don't go on sale that often.

For those that don’t have it, the Resident Evil 4K collection for $42 is a nice deal.

Just bumping this thread. $66 inc. tax for THE REMAINS OF THE DAY, CLIFFHANGER, BLACK HAWK DOWN, MASK OF ZORRO and STRANGELOVE, all in 4K, is not the world's greatest deal, but it beats the all-time lowest Amazon prices for everything but BLACK HAWK DOWN (where it merely beats the last-two-years price) and STRANGELOVE (which was 40¢ cheaper last week). For REMAINS and MASK it beats the best ever by ~$6.

and GRUV is Universal, so if the future is buying directly from studios using ebay or their own websites with much better prices, I'm not mad at that at all...

Both venom 4k steels down to 15.60 now and a few other additional prices reduced. Remember when those were $60+ after selling out everywhere. Before they were reprinted multiple times

Except in such a future, we're more likely to only see discounting of digital delivery. Collectible media, if still offered at all, will be premium priced for only as long as there's a sizeable niche market willing to pay for it. That is unless, most consumers refuse to "buy" digital even when on sale. But we've already established that most people aren't at all concerned about the future of collectible media. It's all about what's cheapest and instant gratification, no matter what the long-term cost.

Pretty much all the sale listings were cancelled and returned to their normal prices... I was gonna grab Into the Spiderverse BD steel $19 to disc swap in my 4k but I didn't get it in time. Now back to $39 yikes.no way. Back to either waiting on a sale or hoping for a 4k US release with exclusive new art.

What is that about? I haven’t received a cancellation email yet but order 11 4k a few days ago. They have multiple discounts that had fine print saying it would go until the 12/5 or 12/6. The discounts are gone now and prices are sky high

Wow! Prices have really gone up. I bought the DVD of The Crown season 5 for $18.40 on 11/24. Now it's $45.99! That's twice the price of Amazon.

Just randomly checking other items (blu-ray and 4K) and price seem very high to me. I was hoping that a direct Sony source would be another Gruv, but not at these prices.

Just noticed that. All the stuff I was dragging my feet on has increased quite a bit. It was definitely a limited time offer!

Don't worry, they frequently skyrocket the prices and then bring them back down. Not sure why. Give it a week or two...
