Cool Holey Moley 3D (in 2d)... Real or comedy schtick?

I always thought miniature golf would be a good sport to do in 3D and holy moly might have been crazy enough to subtly advertise that they're in 3D by making their third season called Holey Moley 3D in 2D.

At the time I did not have an internet connection to pick up web based shows in 3D and I knew no one developed a 2d compatible 3D broadcast method yet.

I asked this question on Quora, but no one gave an answer. Then I thought, wait a second why don't I ask the pro-3D activists and fellow people who open their second eyes this question.

Is the holy moly 3D thing just to stick to make a cheap comedy joke and 3D or was that a subtle way of saying a 3D version was available and was originally filmed in 3D and the whole broadcast industry has to find a way to make 3D be too big compatible before they can actually show it?

TLDR: just read the title: Holey Moley 3D: real or comedy schtick?

It was just a tag line for the third season.

I knew that was a good chance of just being a joke on how everyone started installment seems to be in 3D in the theaters. Like Jaws 3D and Friday the 13th 3D.

Also if you listen to it it said "in 2D". If there was a web version somewhere in 3D they would have said on the broadcast "2D
Version for broadcast". And if they magically pulled off 2D compatible 3D they would have said "2D compatible"

I guess when you analyze the words deeper it was all just a gag.

But then again, there are some pretty serious Cyclops activists out there. And they wanted the most subtle way to say in while not awakening 3d haters
