Default The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Lived

I searched but didn't find a thread dedicated to this new show that premiered this past week. SO, here goes....

Let the discussion begin. I must confess....I shed a tear when Michone found Rick.

I enjoyed the premiere. Also liked how they brought in one things that happened in the comics into the T.V. universe.

[Show spoiler]Rick losing his hand.

Understandably, the first episode had to focus on what happened to Rick after the bridge blew up and explain why he never came back for Michonne and Judith. We also knew that Michonne WAS going to find him, so all that took place in the first episode. Well done, now we just need to see their dramatic reunion and explanations since they last saw each other, and then we'll see where this new series takes us.

Oh, so Rick survived. Cool. He was always my favorite character when I watched the original series.

I hope it was just a little bit of a wink and a nod, but when the CRM asked Michonne what weapon she used and she said a bow staff it all be confirmed, in my mind, that Morgan will be coming back at some point. Gimple just can’t help himself.

I mean, the last we saw of Morgan, he left FTWD to go look for Rick…

People would be courteous to use that “spoiler” function in the forum.

Another spin-off? Huh. TWD fans must love all these shows.

Still, if there was a TWD spin-off with Jon Bernthal I'd watch it for sure.

Most of these spin-offs are complete garbage.

Big fan of TWD. Unfortunately I did not like this show. Easy Pass for me. Dead City was the only show I liked from these spin-off (which I purchased)

I enjoyed most of this series, the first few episodes at least. Overall it was pretty good. Daryl Dixon was pretty good too. I thought Dead City was just ok. Fear the Walking Dead was really bad, same for that other show with the children. Id love it if they did a series about the kids from the OG series (Judith, etc) as adults, set some 30+ years in the future.
