Without going into my personal belief in a conspiracy of active 3D haters poisoning the word 3D so that mainstream producers are afraid to even offer the option, even if it steps on no one's toes, retailers have a similar effect. Your average Best Buy Target Walmart and GameStop will not carry this stuff.
I assume if I want to go buy 3D equipment I have to go to a 3D video specialist. Is there a catalog of websites as well as physical places to visit where you can pick up 3D equipment that cater to the few percent that are actively seeking 3D that the few percent encourage the 90% to hate. Is there a modern merchant of 3D stuff or is it mainly eBay? If so would any of them sell a add-on 3D processor that you can add to an existing 2D TV to make it a shutter based timing 3D TV? Also would they sell a 3D signal splitter that could separate the left eye and right eye into two separate HDMI images for the purposes of outstreaming? You don't have to feel the answers to whether they sell the specific equipment to tell me where I could find 3D specific equipment for blu-ray TV and other video stuff. Is there a "red and cyan pages", a directory of 3D video related businesses? |
