First console was a NES, then a SNES. My Uncle got a PS1 for Christmas with Formula One (he’s an F1 fanatic). I remember watching him play it and in particular, the sound quality (starting with the famous start up screen). At that moment, I wanted to get one.
First two games were Formula One and Die Hard Trilogy. Mind blowing. It was Resident Evil 1, which I rented over a few days…just amazing times. I’m not an RPG fan and even I bought FF7 and completed it. It’s the only RPG I’ve ever completed lol It just felt so new and different at the time. I actually ended up purchasing a PS1 game only recently - Future Cop: L.A.P.D. Amazing how well it holds up and would have been a favourite of mine for sure on release. Wish we had all PS1, PS2 and PS3 games in an accessible library via PSN. |
