Default MSNBC Tech & Science headline: "Wal-Mart dumps HD DVDs to back Blu-ray"

Check it out (top-right of page):

http://www.msnbc.com

Now, don't mis-understand me. i like Blu-Ray. I'm overjoyed that HD-DVD is finally dead. But there was something so shallow about having this news pop-up next to the main story of another gunman who killed 5 people on a college campus. Kind of took the wind out of my sails....and puts it into perspective. guess we latch on to things like format wars because it's a distraction from the harsh realities of life.

Good words, Frank. I raise my glass to you. We should all remember what's important.

Overreact much? That story is still the main thing on the page, this is a little thing in the corner.

Yes. Good old news websites... Top headlines meshed together. "Five dead in school shooting, Britney Spears puts her socks on backwards, Wallmart goes Blu-ray exclusive, Roids not good for Baseball afterall and First look at baby Cruize.

I rather focus, on the positive. Unfortunally, there is a lot of crazy people around.

Was also a headline in Canada's CBC website for a bit and they confirmed that Walmart Canada is following the lead of Walmart USA.

Bye bye Venturer hehe.

I've seen Blu-ray news everwhere in the last couple of weeks, with HD-DVD dead, people will start adopting finally.
