Pretty sure it is since Miramax/Dragon Dynasty's US/UK rights have long expired and the HK rightsholder (Eastern Heroes) had recently completed a 4k resto of the uncut version. I imagine this will come to the US as well since RoninFlix (who put out all but The Defender from a Eastern Heroes deal) has gone belly up as a distributor and their releases are OOP.

I imagine this UHD will be the debut of the new restoration since it has not been screened in it's home country due to being banned for "implied political content involving the governments".

In Germany we never had the US version, but the original export version was cut as well. Love the movie. Great this get's a 4k release.

I remember watching this on TV a long, long time ago. Been hoping for a decent-quality blu-ray since and lo and behold, we get a 4K disc instead. Hope it looks good.

Received my copy a few days ago, will be watching tonight. Must say the artwork is beautiful once again.

Watched this last night and was very happy with the picture quality and sound.
Not Jet Li's best movie in terms of martial arts action but a solid watchable movie. Would've preferred My Father Is A Hero getting the 4K treatment but I'm always happy for more Hong Kong Action Cinema in 4k.
