Carlotta always uses FIM right? Hopefully the winning release. Do we know if they're actually doing a disc or is this just for a theatrical rerelease? Or do they always do both?

Wow. Has to get a disc release, surely. I've avoided the Blu-ray for ages hoping a 4K would be incoming eventually.

All of the BDs I have from them are FiM-encoded but their UHD encoding is shared with LSP in Germany, a great authoring house. They did Carlotta's Wings of Desire for example and it's the best UHD of the film.

Not that I know of. From the top of my head, they're working with Subkultur on all BD and UHD releases, followed by Plaion and Turbine for either all or the majority of their 4K UHDs, now Carlotta and occasionally Capelight for some 4Ks. They're also doing restorations and are really good at this as well, such as The Last Emperor, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Frighteners, Naked Lunch etc.

For Capelight they did Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Ronin and potentially The Night of the Hunter.

For Carlotta they did Wings of Desire, Four Flies on Grey Velvet, IIRC Texas Chainsaw Massacre and now maybe Farewell My Concubine and the Oshima films too.
