Default Devolo Powerline Adapters & Electricity Consumption

When we installed Sky Q as part of our 3 Home Cinema systems in our L-shaped penthouse 3 years ago, we had issues with the satellite signal from the main box/router (we have Sky Broadband too) reaching the mini-boxes effectively. Based on someone's advice here, I added a system of Devolo dLAN 1200+Wifi plugs with ethernet connections to all 3 Home Sinema set-ups, with the Master Devolo plugged to the main TV connected to the Sky Router and the other two using the 'Slave' adapters. Since that day, everything has worked like the proverbial peach, with no drop whatsoever in either the Satellite Signal or Sky Broadband speed.

Because of that, we keep the Devolos on all the time, but have noticed a new issue that might or might not be related to the powerline adapters. For the past 18 months there has been a significant rise in our electricity bills, coinciding with when our energy supplier changed from a manual to a 'Smart' electricity meter. We have been tussling with the supplier about this, even involving the Energy Ombudsman and the matter is being investigated at present. The most likely reason is that the Smart Electricity meter is faulty but I just wanted to check it has nothng to do with the Devolos.

So, do the Devolo 1200s use a lot of electricity if left plugged ON into the Home Cinema systems?
