I Found A Ps3 On Ebay!!! - Blu-ray Forum

I was able to get or will get in the next day or two a 60gb ps3 for $825.00 which is not too bad considering they go for $600.00. I am very happy and i did not have to wait in line. Any recommendations for games I should get?

When does motorstorm come out? I was able to pick up a 20 gig yesterday from gamestop.com. They but up a bunch of units for sale around 1:00pm and they were all snatched up pretty quick.

HD-DVD movies are superior in picture quality to Blu_Ray, as far as gaming goes, the PS3 has been pretty good.

I see your new here to the forum. A bit of advice. Blatant FUD like that will not fly here. Take it to AVS. BD PQ is on par with HD DVD and has been for the last few months.

I really hope that's NOT the case because I've seen King Kong play on the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player and it looked fantastic!! To say that Blu-Ray movies look worse when they are supposed to look the same or better is not what i want to hear since i'm planning on getting a PS3 with 20+ BD movies from the get go....

The question is whether this is/was a format issue, or a choices by the studios? The reviews in the past few months have show the differences getting much, much smaller.

Long term, is there something specific about HD DVD that guarantees superior quality from every release?

I don't think there is anything that HD-DVD has that Bluray doesn't. If anything, Bluray more GB space than HD-DVD.
