Brand new disc with see through holes. - Blu-ray Forum

I recently got the Warner release of Dracula has risen from the grave. The label side of the disc has small patches of the label missing. You can hold it up to the light and you can see through to the other side. Is this a form of degeneration? I don't think i've ever gotten a brand new disc with this issue.

Can you exchange it?

That's what I do in a case like this. Many discs are easy to see though but this one sounds damaged unless the label is intentionally done this way.
