Finally, one of these boxsets without any double dips for me (I have MotP and The Killing Joke on Blu-ray, but haven’t gotten around to upgrading to UHD). Will probably pick it up.

At this point I really only want Under the Red Hood and The Dark Knight Returns on 4K. Where are those??

Lmao, 200 dollars for a collection this ugly, GTFO of here. Mask of the Phantasm stands out, obviously. Even few that have better art (not ****ing weird) than the rest of the digitally animated ones, still cheap digital animation. Used because it's cheap, with most having low res backgrounds, but still they think 200 dollars.

Even funnier, I think the last Black Friday, they offered 90% of the Warner Animated DC movies for like $20 digitally.
I have 95% of these in my iTunes.

I've seen all of these and they are by no means all worth owning.

Mask of the Phantasm, Year: One, and The Long Halloween are all excellent. Soul of the Dragon is a great watch as well, albeit not quite as good as the previous mentioned.

Hush was a good adaptation until they ruined it by completey changing the ending. The Killing Joke is good if you skip the horrendous chapters they added at the beginning and just begin with Batman entering Arkham as in the original.

The rest are, to put it simply, not good.

Where is a 4K of The Dark Knight Returns?

No Return of the Joker? I'm guessing it was done at SD resolution so 4K would need to be an upscale?

I just got this in (since it was on sale for $85). It's actually a normal 10-disc amray case (no stacking or overlapping) inside a hard chipboard artbox with a separate booklet. Not a bad little package. My only gripe is the thin hubs holding the discs. Wouldn’t have paid $200 though.

EDIT: This is also a 3000-unit numbered limited edition. I have 1682.

That is good to hear about it using a plastic case. Cool that it's numbered too, and $85 is a lot more reasonable for sure.

Is there anything in this individual release of Batman: Year One commemorative edition that is missing from the 85th anniversary 10-film box set?

Late reply, but this set doesn’t have the Catwoman short, since that was on the Blu-ray without carrying over to the UHD. The individual release is a Blu-ray/UHD combo, but this set is UHD-only. It comes with digital copies with digital extras, but I checked and that short isn’t included with them.
