Default CBS Evening news / Blu segmet

Hey Guys,

I am watching CBS Evening News not 60 minutes and they are talking about BLU.

It's about 45 min in and they are saying HD is gone.

WOWOOWOWOWOWOWOWO.

Saw the same broadcast. I believe that was a CBS Evening News report. Only had info that we've known for a long time. Rest of general public may not care.

I don't think this is on 60 Minutes. The report was part of the CBS Evening News.

Nice to see the mainstream news channels reporting on the events.

Right, this news is going far and wide, but the official announcements 'in the next few days' (probably) will be even bigger.

Next time please dont just assume it's incorrect before you post.

I saw the EXACT report on the CBS Evening News at the same time of your first post. I just finished watching 60 Minutes (after the Evening News ), and I did not see ANYTHING on the Blu-Ray Report (unless Andy Rooney carrying on about a dog show somehow was a secret encoding to tell Universal and Paramount to give up HD-DVD). I'm not sure, but from my point of view my first post was very factual!

There was nothing about HD-DVD/Blu-Ray in the 60 minutes I just watched; just the drug story, Denmark story, conductor story and Andy Rooney. There is a video on the CBS Evening News website though: http://www.cbsnews.com/sections/i_vi...ayer3420.shtml

My local Fox 8 Columbus just said Toshiba pulled HDDVD support and that the war is officially over. It's nice to see them reporting it but they are getting a little ahead of themselves (hopefully by only a few hours ).
