They were already releasing exclusive shorts for The Simpsons on Disney + the last few years(and will continue to do so) but now they will be starting to release exclusive full episodes on Disney + too as announced Sat. at D23. https://tvline.com/news/the-simpsons...as-1235313562/ It's going to be four episodes exclusive to Disney + one of which is a Christmas two parter. Wouldn't surprise me if other companies start doing this too at some point.
