Annnnnd here's another one that's flying under the radar. Probably thanks to being on Peacock. Funny, was just about to cancel Peacock and then boom! I stumbled upon this possible horror gem.

No idea if this is going to stick the landing, but 2 eps in, and I'll recommend. Not to give anything away but got some nice little surprises here.

Apparently Hysteria is going to also air on USA Network, I'm surprised Peacock doesn't do this more often. Same for Paramount+ and Paramount Network. Universal has so many random cable networks that anything they have could probably fit on SOMETHING of theirs. Release it early for Peacock subscribers and the rest get it weekly. My free year of Peacock from Spectrum is about to expire at the beginning of December so I decided to watch the few things I had saved on and I wouldn't have heard of this if it hadn't been for one of the ads played during Apples Never Fall.

It's two episodes a week until Halloween, first two were largely average but the end of episode 2 was very interesting.

Hysteria is dropping all 8 episodes at once.

I'll have to wait on Teacup until all episodes are available.

Totally agree! I came to this sub-forum today to specifically look for a thread about this show as I just discovered it over the weekend. I hadn't even heard of it, but just happened to see it on Peacock, so gave it a try. As you said, these first two episodes were impactful and interesting and I'm now excited to see where the story goes.

All at once on Peacock, but weekly on USA.

Agreed! It's definitely keeping my attention. Really happy to see Kathy Baker in it as I've enjoyed her since the days of Picket Fences.

The child actor in this is such a bad actor it takes you completely out of the show.

I started this yesterday with a hangover. I am not sure what to think yet.

I sort of let the TV watch me and I think I am at least 4 or 5 in. They just found
[Show spoiler] the tree of life or whatever it is

I can only assume this will end on a cliffhanger and irritate me. I probably should do some research on these before I start them.

I’m still baffled that this was ever even greenlit. It’s way too convoluted and slow-moving for the unwashed masses. I enjoyed it but was not surprised in the least to see it canned.

That is a big giant BINGO!!

Looks like I will read the ending to the book on its wiki. What a waste. It was sort of Ok stole lots from other movies. I would never recommend it however.
