Hopefully a non-swag version gets released in the U.S.. Love the movie, but not “import from Australia for ~$200” love it.

Be neat if they released a disc-only version at a reasonable price here. I don’t even need the German cut (as curious as I am about how it differs).

This set looks gorgeous and those new bonus features sound great. Despite what some here said, I knew it was only a matter of time before the German 4K restoration would be conformed to the US cut for international release.

GAWD though that price tag curls my toes. Over $200 shipped to the US.

Despite owning every major German and US release of the movie it’s going to take me a minute to put funds aside for this one. Hopefully it doesn’t sell out in two seconds like so many things seem to be doing lately.

Previous BD was released by Roadshow with the back cover crediting Producers Sales Organization and the copyright with New Constantin, so no indication of a WB deal but licensed directly from Constantin.

30 x 37 cm (12 x 15 inches), and 2.4 kg (over 5 pounds).

That sounds roughly 1:1 scale to me.

I went for it, just in case, a). There is no non-swag edition later, or b). in case a future swagless edition also features fewer discs. This set is too well assembled and comprehensive to pass up.

The upcoming release by Imprint looks very impressive, but I'll have to save up for it. Thankfully, $250 in Australian currency equals about $170 for the USA, plus with tax and shipping I'm guessing the final price would be close to $200 flat. So its still doable, but will take some patience on my part. I just hope they make enough copies to last the demand in the meantime.

I'm buying it because it's one of my favorite movies. In case there is never a nice Special Edition for the US. Like I'd settle for a $60 Arrow Limited Edition slipcover with booklet style release.

Over 70 min. of deleted scenes...holy shite! That's awesome if you like that stuff which I do. I'm a fan of the movie but not at that price. Would like to see the footage though.
