Looking For Mr. Goodbar 4K UHD

A little birdie told me that Vinegar Syndrome has this title and the music rights have been cleared. We should likely expect a release date either late this year or next year through their Cinématographe label. I'm putting it in the wishlist section since there is no 100% confirmation or announcement yet.

Wasn’t there lots of discussion about this in the last few days, in the original “Looking for Mr Goodbar” thread and the Cinématographe thread and the VS thread, to the effect of “it’s not coming from Cinématographe but from VSU” and also “the font on the Black Friday teaser doesn’t match LFMG exactly so therefore it isn’t part of the Black Friday announcement (so don’t expect it before December)”?

There’s been talk about it for the last year or so. I hope it finally comes out so we can all find a new movie to talk about.

Admittedly I only assumed it'd be Cinematographe because that's the label Little Darlings was released through, either way VS should be releasing it

It depends. The initial VS site tease for the flash pre-order weekend (quoted below) appears to suggest LFMG is coming as part of that window. Justin LaLiberty has said there are no plans to launch a CIN title during the pre-order. So putting two and two together, you'd come up with VSU.

However, the ever-reliable sockboy pointed out that at least one previous tease for a BF flash pre-order included artwork from an alternate slipcover, only launched during the BF sale proper. So it may be the case that LFMG is indeed a Cinematographe release, but will only be revealed in late November. Seems a little odd to me given the emphasis on that tease, but we'll see what happens next week.

It's as good as confirmed! This gent on Twitter replied to me. Today's hint from VS matches one of the stills used in the title sequence.

Well, it's not hard to guess whose art this is either - Haunt Love. Uses stills from films.

So-so style, for me. Some newspaper splashes.

I hope that’s all the artwork is (still frame from the film), with reversible original option.
