This looks awesome. Combat looks like Dynasty Warriors. Samoa Joe is in there. I've been out on the series for a long time, but this seems like a spin-off anyone could jump in to.

I heard good things about the base game, even though it's turn based compared to tthe Yakuza series.

Sega has a sale going on at the moment for the game, though no huge savings like $1 for Ubisoft's Crew 2 till the 24th of Sept. Crew 2 said to be adding an offline option soon.

Oh yeah, I watched the direct today and was pretty surprised by how expansive this game looks. I figured it was gonna be a short side game kinda like Gaiden, but it looks like a lot of content.

I really love this series and the consistent quality from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. I swear... it took Ubisoft 10 years to make Skull and Bones to what we got at launch, and it probably took RGG 6 months and a bundle of popsicle sticks and duct-tape to make what looks like a superior game

I was thinking the same thing, RGG Studios is on a roll with fantastic games releasing at least once a year. 10+ years for Ubi to deliver Skull and Bones, at no point did the game look fun and the final product was boring af.

I suppose a SEGA Account is intended to make cross save/cross progress easier, maybe also share DLC across multiple platforms (like Epic w/ Fortnite) but who knows at this point. If the account becomes a requirement SEGA will anger PC players, there better not be a launcher or PC users will revolt.
